WY-Grunts are Weyland Personnel in service for Weyland-Yutani on LV426. They first appear in the level Battle for Sulaco as they battle against Winter, O'Neal and Bella, some help Winter while others try to flee the USS Sulaco. They are a group of Weyland Personnel called PMCs which include the WY-Grunts, WY-Engineers, WY-Elites and WY-Brutes and are similiar to the PMCs that which appeared on Fiorina 'Fury' 161 in the film Alien 3.

WY-Grunts wear white or camoflagued Armour but with white caps, they mainly carry Pulse Rifles or M39 Submachine Guns.

WY-Grunts battle against Marines and the Xenos in the game Aliens: Colonial Marines. They appear in the levels Battle for Sulaco, Sulaco Falls aboard the USS Sulaco and on the surface of LV426 in The Raven, For Bella, One Bullet and Rampart.

WY-Grunts appear in the Aliens: Colonial Marines campaigns on the USS Sulaco and on LV426. With the release of the level Stasis Interrupted they also appear on Fury 161, grunts appear along with elites, brutes and hazmats, carrying a variety of weapons but mostly M39 submachine guns.
