Interactions[]
Demarcus, Jennifer and Guillermo appear as playable characters in co-op. When playing through the campaign in co-op, a host controls Winter with other players able to choose between players Demarcus, Jennifer and Guillermo.
Continuity[]
Short's character only appears in the Aliens: Colonial Marines campaigns.
These three characters appear in singleplayer co-op, and are new characters and are introduced along with the level Stasis Interrupted and Levy, Lisbeth, Stone and Hicks' character who has been rescued.
Some multiplayer maps don't follow a continuity from the films Aliens or Alien 3, with some areas appearing in singleplayer differing in multiplayer.
Although in concepts multiplayer characters carry certain weapons like the shotgun or pulse rifle in gameplay the characters Demarcus, Jennifer and Guillermo are equipped with the weapons a player would have in singleplayer.
Markus Lloyd voices for the character Short.
In the game a character's armour, helmets and attached equipment can be customized for a female or male marine's character with some of these resembling those of other single and multiplayer characters.
Timeline[]
The events of the game Aliens: Colonial Marines are set between those of the films Aliens and Alien 3 but diverge from the film Aliens and over lap the film Alien 3.
