Description[]
The Shock Rifle sometimes called the Shockrifle Burner is a weapon used by United Systems Military (USM) aboard the USM Auriga. This weapon fires solid slugs from it's barrel and in some configurations is fitted with an under barrel taser.
Construction[]
Made from alloy and aligned similiar to the Flame thrower also used aboard the Auriga.

The Shock Rifle in the film is carried by DiStephano and Elgyn. The taser is used against Ripley when she tries to strangle Wren, she herself picks up Elgyn's rifle after finding him dead and continues carrying it until they reach room 7.
Continuity[]
In Alien Resurrection (film) the Shock Rifle is either equipped with a taser or flashlight and the Flamer thrower is equipped with an under barrel flashlight and can fire either as a Grenade Launcher, Pulse Rifle or Flame thrower from the same barrel. These weapons are both similiar in design.
Both the Lasers and Electric Guns that appears in the game are similiar in design to the Shock Rifles. Other weapons like the Flame throwers are similiar as in the film but the Pulse Rifles, Grenade Launchers, and Rocket Launchers are separate and are similiar with weapons appearing in other games.
Timeline[]
The film Alien Resurrection is set after the film Alien 3, some 200 years after Ellen Ripley dies at the Class C Work Correctional Unit on Fiorina 'Fury' 161.
