Proximity Mines are part of a Predator's armoury.

Description

Proximity Mines are composed of different versions, these can be proximity or remote detonation, other sorts are listed below. These are carried by a Predator and some are configured to be dependant on the amount of plasma energy remaining, or number carried.

In most cases Proximity Mines and their variants are made for a ploy-synthetic alloy casing, with either a micro sensing microwave emitter trigger, a remote signal trigger or a laser pulse detection array trigger.

Tactical Uses

---

Depending on their composition, their primary role is in combat defense, serving as tactical cover and remote triggered defense. A useful tactical weapon who's use is more suited against marines then aliens due to their sense capabilities and rate of pace.
