Predators Linked with Featured 3 Predators (film) released 9th July 2010 was never released in 3D or is there a possibility that they will release a 3D version for DVD or Blu-ray. With the release of Prometheus being filmed in 3D and for those people wondering how a film like Predators would be like in 3D, then here are a few images of the film with the corresponding DVD version for comparison. Predators was distributed by 20th Century Fox, and is the fifth film in the Predator franchise, following Predator (1987), Predator 2 (1990), and the crossover films Alien vs. Predator (2004) and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007).

Reserve Like with others 3D films the lighter scenes appear clearer in 3 Dimensions, giving depth whilst still keeping resolution and colour, particularly with still images. Areas of the Kolekole Reserve in Hawaii in 3D give the jungle depth, and the actors stand out against the jungle back drop. The spacecrafts' corridors and chambers show little depth due to the darkness, making it difficult perceiving which parts give depth, were as the Canyon Lake Gorge and on set images show more detail of depth.

Triva According to Robert Rodriguez, the title of "Predators" serves as a 'double-entendre', describing the alien hunters as well as the ensemble human characters they target: "They could very well kill each other off even if there were no Predators!" The film was produced at Rodriguez's Troublemaker Studios as opposed to 20th Century Fox so that Rodriguez had more creative control over the film. It was originally thought that Robert Rodriguez would direct, on July 1, 2009, Nimród Antal was officially signed on as director and Robert Rodriguez as producer.
