Combi Stick

Name

Combi Sticks also known as Spears are part of a Predator's armoury.

Description

A Combi Stick is a spear like combat weapon carried by Predators, being synonymous with and associated with predators as a hunter/hunted weapon used by Predators through the ages in both combat and defense. The Combi Stick is also considered to be a ceremonial spear and the quaility and craftmanship of a Combi Stick increases with rank held.

Construction

Constructed from a ploy synthetic alloy, the Combi Stick or Spear is a hardened ploy synthetic alloy throwing or hand to hand combat device. In most configuration it is capable of being retracted, it has spear sharp ends and a thicker handle acting both as a handle in combat and in throwing, this also acts as a retractable housing.

Tactical Uses

Preliminary a combat defense weapon that doesn't require plasma energy to operate, it either has a 'fire and forget' mechanism or needs to be retrieved. It has it's own in-built targeter and will operate in zoom which can improve it's accuracy over greater distances. This accuracy and a 'one shot kill' means it will be a chosen weapon for distant targets.
