Like Superscape's Alien v Predator and Alien v Predator 3D, Alien v Predator (Elite Systems) is set in and about the antarctic pyramid and whaling station. The two species alien and predator battle in out in either quick fight or championship.
Alien v Predator (Elite Systems) is a different game to Alien v Predator 3D and Alien v Predator (Superscape).

The initial name was used to publish only one title, Blue Thunder for the ZX Spectrum, Atari 8-bit and Commodore 64, before changing name to Elite. They are best known for producing home computer conversions of popular arcade games. Elite also published games under the budget re-release labels Encore and Hit-Pak. With the rise in the popularity of mobile games, Elite began to focus on mobile conversions, and have also developed and published some new games, such as AVP. In 2005, the publication Retro Gamer credited the Elite team in Volume 2-Issue 1 as Richard Benton, M. Hyden and Steve Wilcox.
